Upham Fire Station is a fictional fire station in the London Fire Brigade. It was considered to be "out in the sticks" as it was on the outer edges of London. Carole Webb's crew were stationed at Upham on standby and Gregg Blake accidentally set fire to it after replacing a faulty circuit breaker.
The Upham station seen in London's Burning was the real life Tilbury Fire Station in the Essex Fire Brigade, which had been closed prior to filming and turned into a martial arts gym. As of February 2021, the building which is currently disused has been approved for demolition in mid-late 2021.
