Richard Walsh (born 8 December 1952) is an English actor who played firefighter Bert 'Sicknote' Quigley in London's Burning from 1986 to 2000.
During casting for the film, Walsh also tried out for the parts of Vaseline and Bayleaf. He appeared in the original pilot movie and 147 episodes, second only to Glen Murphy (George Green). By the time of his departure he was the last remaining original cast member. He has also appeared in Doctors, Heartbeat, Midsomer Murders and is a regular on the stage.
In November 2016, Walsh was among the former London's Burning cast members who attended the official opening of the new Dockhead fire station, on the site of the original Blackwall station where the show was filmed.[1]
