Lewisham Fire Station is a real-life fire station in the London Fire Brigade, often featured in London's Burning as the South East Area's headquarters (as it is in real life).
It is where the Area Commander (Bulstrode, then Baxter, and later Chapman) is based.
Notable scenes occuring at Lewisham include Scase and Tate being disciplined after Tate countermanded Scase in Series 2, Bulstrode thwarting Bayleaf's attempts to request a transfer in Series 3, Bulstrode offering Nick promotion to staff in Series 6, and Bulstrode admonishing Scase in front of Nick in Series 7. In Series 12, Lewisham won the best-kept station competition, after Blackwall and Shadbrook were both disqualified for cheating.
