Episode Summary[]

Chris finds out that his daughter Lisa wants to stay with him. George begins his fitness regime with Sally and jogs to work.

Roll call is interrupted by a shout to save a man in a precarious position where Blue Watch find Clingfilm in charge of Borough Street's Hydraulic Platform. Dan and Clingfilm are sent up to get the man, who turns out to be deaf. However, Clingfilm messes up on the HP controls and the man almost falls, but Dan just manages to pull him to safety. Back on the ground, Dan angrily confronts Clingfilm, but to his chagrin Pearce backs Clingfilm.

After work, Jack meets up with Linda, while Joe, Dan, Sally and Recall go to the pub. Later, Joe looks around flats with Jacqui but he is disinterested as he is smitten with Sally. Sicknote gets a shock when Jean announces live on his radio show that she is pregnant. George and Kelly go to look at her new workplace.

Back at Blackwall, DO Chapman arrives to see Chris and Pearce learns that Dan's father was a firefighter who was killed in action. An elderly woman is trapped inside a burning scout hut. Sally moves a van parked nearby while Pearce and Sicknote find the woman and bring her out alive. Dan has words with a group of kids nearby but Pearce interrupts and scares the kids away and then Chris gets mad.

On arrival back at the station, Chris has a visitor who wants money from him. Pearce tells the man to leave and an unsettled Chris threatens Pearce with a transfer.
