Episode Summary[]

Nick goes to Cyprus to visit Costas. He tells Evgenia and Costas that he wants to take Costas back to London with him, and asks them to come back too. At Blackwall, Hallam is acting up as Station Officer and Pearce as Sub. Sicknote announces his return to the stage and the reformation of his amateur dramatics society as the Penge Millennium Theatre, though its initials PMT draw some laughs. Jenny arrives wanting to speak with Hallam which gets everybody gossiping. When asked, Pearce says he doesn't know who she is. The bells go down and they are called to St Hugh's Hospital, but it is a hoax call. En route back to the station, George accidentally backs the pump into an open manhole.

At his gym, George is watching one of his boys in a tournament. Cyril is also there and asks George to help him patch things up with Beattie. Billy collects the last of his belongings from his nan's house. She tells him she doesn't want to part on bad terms and that there will always be a home for him there. Sicknote is not having much luck with the reformation of PAPS: most have died, emigrated or are in prison. Recall warns Billy that him staying with him is only temporary and not to bring any women back. Laura phones and she hears Billy falling over in the background. Recall tells her he has someone repairing the washing machine.

Geoff goes to a dogs' home and settles on a boxer dog named Bruno, who takes an immediate liking to him. Still in Cyprus, Nick goes to look for Petros and tells him to leave Costas and Evgenia alone. Pedros is still bitter about losing Ariadne to Nick and lunges at him but Nick comes off better and walks away. Pedros yells at him that it isn't over. At a swimming pool, a gas leak causes an explosion while electricians are repairing the mains. At Blackwall, Geoff moves his bed to the Crew Commander's dorm. Hallam objects but relents when Geoff mentions covering for him to the lads and Sandra about Jenny.

The watch arrive at the swimming pool to find the building rapidly filling with water from the pool. One man is trapped and Billy tells him to move as high as possible. Jack dives and swims round to him. The man won't swim back with him, so Jack comes up with a novel way to persuade him. Bruno is asleep on Geoff's sofa, having ripped it to shreds, and Nick arrives back in London with Costas and Evgenia.
