George is missing married life and Nicky has moved in with Jack, who is not overjoyed with the arrangement. Carole learns where her new posting will be which triggers memories of an incident in her past. While out on hydrant inspection Sicknote notices a mini riot. A group of residents are harassing a man who is in his car, claiming he is a paedophile. Someone throws a Molotov cocktail at the car and the Watch do their best to rescue him. The man dies. They later learn that he was not a paedophile after all.
Jack continues to wind up Recall about Nicky so Recall challenges him to a fight in the yard. They both end up bloodied, but Recall gets the worst of it and George and Gregg have to break them up. Pearce and Clingfilm are preparing for their divorced mens' trip away when they are taken hostage by Clingfilm's ex-wife Noreen, who plans to sacrifice them. Jack is barred from the pub by Jaffa. In response, Nicky resigns as barmaid. Geoff and Clingfilm are saved when Recall returns and disarms Noreen. He decides to leave them tied up until after his bath.
