Episode Summary[]

The first shout is for the Pump, who have to investigate a strange smell coming from a boarded up flat. George and Pearce find a dead body which has clearly been there for some time. ADO Davis arrives at Blackwall with the results of his Health and Safety report. It is actually mostly positive, but he upsets Maggie by saying that the kitchen is a health hazard. She is so offended that she walks out. It turns out that the main health hazard is Sicknote's herbal tea, to which Billy and Gregg have been adding all kinds of "organic matter" like twigs, mud, leaves and insects.

Billy finds Jo, who is staying with a drug dealer named Clive. He tries to force Jo into his car but Clive comes out wielding a baseball bat and Billy attacks him. The police arrive and Billy is hauled down to the police station. Nick takes some flowers round to Maggie's house as an apology on behalf of the Brigade because of ADO Davis' harsh words about her kitchen. The next duty sees the Watch attend a huge hospital fire after a JCB digger causes an accident when the driver waves at a nurse and swerves into an electrical substation. They have to evacuate the building due to the fire spreading through the roof. Billy is arrested on suspicion of murder as Clive has been found dead in his flat.
