Alan Talbot (died 24 November 2014) was an English actor who played firefighter Jaffa Parrish from series 1 (1988) to series 12 (2000) of London's Burning. His other television credits include The Bill, Grange Hill, Doctor Who, Loveyjoy, Absolutely Fabulous, Minder and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. He also had minor roles in the films The Living Daylights, Under Suspicion, Mona Lisa and The Long Good Friday. He was also "George The Bear" in the Hoffmeister lager tv adverts
